Prez presents Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar to BDL CMD

Hyderabad, Sep 27 (UNI) Town Official Language Implementation Committee(TOLIC), Hyderabad - Secunderabad headed by BDL has been awarded the prestigious 'Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar' (First Place) among the states of Region “Ç” at the National Level for its excellent performance for the year 2015 - 16.
Mr V Udaya Bhaskar, CMD, BDL, who is also the Chairman of TOLIC (U), received the Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar from President Pranab Mukherjee at a function held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on the eve of “Hindi Divas” on September14. The Award comprises a Shield and a Certificate, a BDL statement said here today.
The Committee, constituted by the Government of India, comprises 48 Central Public Sector Undertakings as its Member Offices with BDL as its Coordinating Office which monitors, reviews, makes action plan for implementation of Official Language – Hindi, at its Member Offices to achieve the targets set by Government of India, besides conducting various promotional and propagation activities under the able guidance of its Chairman, Udaya Bhaskar.
