Be the change you want to see, says Aamir Khan in Global Citizen India’s new video

Aamir Khan has lent his voice to a unique video which sends out an important message to the citizens of India. And the message is: Be the change that you want to see.

The perfectionist Khan of the industry and the brand ambassador for Global Citizen India, Aamir Khan has lent his voice to a unique video which sends out an important message to the citizens of India. And the message is: Be the change that you want to see.
In the video, which is titled Shuruaat Hoon Main, we see Aamir encouraging people to start engaging in conversations that lead to action, stop protesting  and take responsibility for everything in this country. The actor took to Twitter to promote the video and said, “Change begins with me. #ShuruaatHoonMain @GlblctznIN.”
Aamir is also the UNICEF Ambassador for malnutrition awareness and has been an active participant in Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis-led project ‘Jal Yukt Shivar’, a water conservation endeavour.
Global Citizen India, a collaboration between The Global Education & Leadership Foundation and Global Citizen, is the largest event of the year, which will be held in Mumbai on 19 November 2016. This annual festival will be held in a different city for the next 15 years.
The event has been trending because Coldplay will be performing in India along with an impressive line-up of artists including Jay Z, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, AR Rahman, Arijit Singh, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Monali Thakur.

On the work front, Aamir is gearing up for the promotions of his upcoming biographical sports drama film Dangal, which is scheduled to release on December 23. The film is based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat and also stars debutants Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.
