Royal Enfield Himalayan Launched In Nepal
Royal
Enfield's
much-awaited
adventure-tourer
motorcycle,
the
Himalayan
has
been
launched
in
Nepal.
The
motorcycle
will
be
available
through
Vivek
Automobiles
Private
Limited,
authorised
distributor
Royal
Enfield.
The Himalayan in powered by 411cc oil-cooled engine which produces 24.5bhp and 32Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a five-speed constant mesh gearbox. The purpose built adventure-tourer is equipped with 300mm disc brake at the front and 240mm at the rear. It has a fuel tank capacity of 15 litres.
The optimised handlebars, seats, footpeg positions and narrow fuel tank enables the rider to travel long distances and harsh terrain with ease.
Head of Sales, Service and Spares, Royal Enfield India, Shaji Koshy said, "The bike is a purpose-built motorcycle well suited for daily commuting, city cruising as well as for long distance riding."
He added, "The bike with its ground-up design, it is simple and capable to go-anywhere motorcycle that will redefine adventure touring in Nepal." He also stated that Nepal is an important market for Royal Enfield, as they have witnessed an immense growth in terms of sales.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan is available in two colour schemes - Granite Black and Snow White. The adventure motorcycle comes with a price tag of Rs 5,61,000 in Nepal.
