Zarco Laps Motorland Aragon On KTM Moto2 Machine
Ahead of Japanese Grand Prix at Twin Ring Motegi, Moto2 and Moto3 conducted a one-day test at Motorland Aragon. After an incredible win on Sunday, Sam Lowes (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2) was back out to prepare his machinery for the upcoming races. Newly crowned Moto3 World Champion Brad Binder (Red Bull KTm Ajo) was also there.
Most of the teams such as Estrella 0,0 Marc VDS Moto2, Estrella Galicia 0,0 Moto3, Garage Plus Interwetten, Idemitsu Honda Team Asia, Ajo Motorsport Moto2, Dynavolt Intact Moto2, Gaviota Mahindra Aspar Moto3, Sky Racing Team VR46 Moto3, Ongetta-Rivacold Moto3 and Peugeot MC Saxoprint were also present for the post-race test.
The biggest news in Moto2 was reigning champion Johann Zarco (Ajo Motorsports) did some good test with the new KTM Moto2 chassis with a black livery. KTM Moto2 team has already announced its riders lineup for 2017. Zarco had a bad race weekend at Aragon and his advantage was slashed to one point over key rival Alex Rins.
Moto2 title fight is getting very intense this season and at Twin Ring Motegi, we can expect some good battles between title contenders. Binder has already sealed the Moto3 title and now he can race without pressure and try to increase his wins in this spectacular season.
