Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Sep 27 2016 12:42PM Tripura CM orders enquiry into scam in nursing coursesAgartala, Sep 27 (UNI) Following pressure from the Opposition, the Left Front government in Tripura has decided to institute an enquiry against the officials involved in sponsoring SC, ST and OBC students in non-recognised poor institutions for BSc (nursing) and GNM courses.Chief Minister Manik Sarkar today directed the Tribal Welfare department to take steps for ensuring admission of 348 students who had been sponsored by the state government to various colleges in Karnataka but cancelled the sponsorship later due to allegation of corruption in the process.Last week, Trinamool Congress MLA Roy Barman raised the allegation that the students were admitted to nine non-recognised nursing institutes of Karnataka in government sponsored seats this year against a big amount of financial deal.
