CHANDIGARH: A day after an AAP worker was murdered allegedly by a former sarpanch of the SAD over a land dispute at Moga's Bhinder Kala village, AAP on Monday said police officials were working like the "personal army" of the Akalis.
Addressing a press conference here, AAP co-incharge Jarnail Singh and legal wing head Himmat Singh Shergill said chief minister Parkash Singh Badal had failed to provide adequate security to the people.
"As for the police, they are not taking action in many cases, but are shielding the culprits."
Giving an ultimatum to police to arrest the accused, Jarnail said if they would not take any action, AAP would gherao the police station on Tuesday.
