Finally the ‘Power Star’ joined the sets for the shooting of his next movie, Katamarayudu, taking a break from his political commitments. Pawan Kalyan — who was supposed to join the making from September 24 — changed his plans due to incessant rains in the state.
Under the direction of Dolly and a production of Sharat Marrar, the action entertainer Katamarayadu, which is an official remake of Tamil blockbuster Veeram, will feature Pawan Kalyan as a faction leader. Actress Shruti Haasan has been roped in as the female lead in the movie.
Anup Rubens is providing the music for the film. Other reports suggest that the actor is planning to wrap up his shoot in 50 days. The movie is slated for Sankranti in January next year.
Earlier in the month, amid growing speculation that the Tollywood actor would drift away from film industry into politics, Pawan Kalyan had cleared the air stating that he will continue his acting career. “Acting is my livelihood. I will not stop. Yet, I will continue my political journey,” Pawan, as quoted by Telugu Cinema, had stated clearly.
