Luxury homes: $1.75M Phoenix home has 32-foot-long retractable glass wall

James and Shannon Winebrenner purchased this Phoenix home for $1.75 million from Stephen Ellis, managing member of Blue Ridge Properties LLC, an Arizona limited-liability company.

A retired neurological specialist, a bankruptcy lawyer and author, and a bank chairman are some of the buyers and sellers of this week's priciest homes in metro Phoenix.

Craig and Holly Hansen, trustees of the Hansen Trust, paid cash for a classic Santa Barbara-style home in Paradise Valley. Craig Hansen is a bankruptcy lawyer and partner at Squire Patton Boggs LLP. He is also a recognized author and speaker. The home has 5,900 square feet with an attached guest house with 1,112 square feet. Each of the five bedrooms has private bathrooms and walk-in closets. A spalike bathroom with a circular marble-tiled shower adds a stunning element to the master suite. The formal dining room includes a wet bar, perfect for entertaining guests and opens to a gourmet kitchen with natural wood cabinets. The backyard has a pool and spa is next to a ramada with a fireplace and built-in barbecue. Giulia and Francesca Godi, members of Home Holdings LLC,  an Arizona limited liability company, sold the home. The Godis are business partners of the Godi Group in Scottsdale.
