SBS' mega-hit series "Moon Loves: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," also known as "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo," starring Lee Joon-gi (Wang So), Lee Ji-eun (Ko Ha-jin/Hae Soo) and Kang Ha-neul (Wang Wook) will not be getting an extension, according to to latest report. The network will not air any special episodes following its finale. Here are the details. Also, find out what happens on episode 10 airing on Sept. 26.

In its recent report, Koogle TV reported that SBS has denied any extension for "Moon Lover: Scarlet Heart Ryeo."

"It is impossible to extend a series that was pre-shot," a source from SBS was quoted as saying by OSEN, according to the abovementioned website.

"Scarlet Heart: Ryeo" premiered Aug. 27 and it tells the story about a 25-year-old woman, Ko Ha-jin's journey in the past when Goryeo Dynasty ruled Korea. As 16-year-old Hae Soo, Ko Ha-jin falls in love with the two princes, Wang So and Wang Wook. The time has come when Hae Soo must make a choice between the two while power play and political rivalry intensifies in the kingdom.

"Scarlet Heart: Ryeo" will air its finale on Oct. 31. Speculations suggested that 20-episode series might air a special episode on Nov. 1. However, the decision has been made and the show is expected to come to an end on scheduled date. Unfortunately, an extra 21st episode will not be airing.

"Moon Lover: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" returns this week with episode 10 airing on Sept. 26. The show will see some intense moments.

A promo video for "Moon Lover: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" teases the events of episode 10. It shows Hae Soo and Wang So finally come close. Wang So tells her that she is his only friend. Meanwhile, prince seeks King's permission to marry Hae Soo.

Meanwhile, the evil mother of the Crown Prince executes her sinister plan to kill her son. She instructs Hae Soo to get the poison she uses to poison her son's food during the royal supper. Her plan is to kill the Crown Prince and the court lady be blamed for the murder eventually being killed. However, Wang So tries to stop the poisoning by taking it himself.
