WP Engine provides managed services for websites which use the Wordpress platform.

The technology support and innovation centre in Limerick will cater for its 50,000 customers across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Its customers include individuals establishing their own blogs, as well as start-ups and multinationals who have more intricate and complex multi-site needs.

The company provides 24/7 year-round support and solutions to its clients, including security, cloud hosting, development tools and disaster recovery.

It opened a London office last year and the Limerick hub is designed to meet the growing demand for Wordpress services across Europe.
