KATHMANDU: Ruslan Three Star Club of Nepal advanced to the semi-finals of the 64th Bharat Ratna Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Trophy Football Tournament after playing a 1-1 draw against Shillong Lajong FC at the Nehru Stadium in Guwahati on Sunday.

Three Star finished as Group A winners on goal difference after they were tied on five points with Shillong Lajong. Shillong also secured a place in the last four as group runners-up.

Milan Basumatray put Shillong Lajong ahead in the 27th minute, while Three Star’s Nirajan Khadka levelled the scores in 61st minute. Three Star had defeated Barak FC 6-1 in their opener encounter before playing a 1-1 draw against Oil India in the four-team group.
