SAHIWAL/KASUR: Three persons including a girl died in separate incidents here the other day.
According to police, a girl identified as Farhat, 20, committed suicide by taking wheat preservative pills after she was forced by her family to engage with a person she did not want to marry with. On the other hand, a youth Muhammad Tariq committed suicide by taking poisonous pills after being admonished by his father in Chak 65/12-L. He was shifted to DHQ Hospital but could not survive.
In KASUR, a man was killed in collision between a tractor-trolley and van. According to police, the collision occurred when driver of a van lost control over the vehicle and it rammed into a tractor-trolley near Naqeebabad. As a result, a passenger Babar Ali, resident of Kot Rukan Din, was killed on the spot. The Mustafabad Police are investigating.
