Padmanabham poser to Chandrababu Naidu flayed

Condemning the challenge of Mudragada to Chief Minister N. Chandrbabu Naidu to observe fast for special status.

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh State Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation chairman Chalamalasetty Ramanujayya, in a letter on Sunday appealed to Kapu reservation struggle committee leader Mudragada Padmanabham not to cause loss to Kapus by instigating them against the Telugu Desam government which is committed for the welfare of Kapu community.

Condemning the challenge of Mudragada to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to observe fast for special status, he said that the letter indicates personal grudge against the Chief Minister and there is no benefit to Kapu community.

He recalled that Telugu Desam founder N.T. Rama Rao gave an opportunity to Mudragada by offering him minister post for the first time.

Suspecting the sincerity of Mudragada in achieving reservation for Kapus, Mr Ramanujayya posed several questions. He asked why Mudragada failed to write to YSR government, when Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy failed to fulfill the promise of reservations to Kapus though it was included in 2004 election manifesto. He said Mudragada’s letter to Mr Chandrababu Naidu indicates Mudragada’s efforts to save Bhumana Karunakara Reddy from Tuni arson case.
