Government Engineering College students shine in campus interview

AURANGABAD: As many as 116 students belonging to different branches of the Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad have received jobs in campus placement drives conducted by one of the leading IT companies, recently. About 38 students from Computer Science, 25 from IT, 35 from Electronics and Telecommunication, five from Electrical and four from MCA course have been selected.All students who have received job offer will get annual salary of Rs 3.36 lakh. Students qualify for state level kick-boxing event: Two students from St John School located in HUDCO area in the city have qualified for the state level kick-boxing competition to be held at Ahmednagar. Aniket Shrikhande and Ankita Shrikhande won the gold medal at a recent divisional level round of the competition following which they secured a spot for state-level round. While Aniket Shrikhande has qualified in under 17 category , Ankita has made it in under 14 category. "It is a great achievement for our school as our two students have qualified for the state-level event outshining other students," said school authorities.
Orange Day at School: Om Kids English School, which is located at N11 sector in HUDCO, recently celebrated Orange Day with great enthusiasm.
