: The Association of Kerala Government College Teachers has expressed apprehension at the objectives of the National Education Policy being formulated by the Narendra Modi government. The apprehensions were registered at a seminar on National Education Policy organised by the association here on Saturday. The seminar called upon the teaching community and university administrators to be alert about the attempts to privatise education under guise of the policy. The policy aimed at saffronising the education system, gave no value to democracy, social justice, gender equality, and secularism. It also ignored the rural community, speakers who attended the seminar said.
