Man booked for filing fake theft case

DEHRADUN: The police have registered a case against a man for filing a fake theft case on Friday.

The police have registered a case against a man for filing a fake theft case on Friday. According to information, Sahzor Qazi called the police claiming that some  men had stolen Rs 7 lakh from his car parked outside his house. The investigation revealed that the theft complaint was fake. The police have registerd a case against the complainant.

Two-wheeler stolen

A case of two-wheeler theft has been registered at the Kotwali police station. Complainant Dinesh Singh, a resident of Bakralwala, alleged that some  men had lifted his two-wheeler parked outside a bank on Friday. An investigation has been initiated into the case.

Meanwhile, a woman filed a complaint of negligent driving after her son was injured in a road accident. Complainant Pushpa Sharma said her son Tushar Sharma was seriously injured after a truck hit him while he was crossing a road. The police are investigating the complaint.
