Hyderabad, Sep 26: Award-winning Hollywood director and founder chairman and CEO of Aries Group of Companies Sohan Roy on Sunday unveiled the first look of his most awaited project “Burning Wells” – a movie set against the backdrop of Kuwait War. The first look was unveiled during the Indywood Film Carnival being held at Ramoji Fim City. The project had brought together Roy and well-known director I.V. “Burning Wells” portrays the life of a man who gets uprooted by the worst consequences of the infamous Kuwait war after Iraq’s Saddam Hussain invaded the Gulf Principality on 1990. The movie has been made at the cost of $25 million and has been shot in three languages – Arabic, Hindi and English. It has been made in Hollywood format in 3D using 8K technology. Although there have been many movies set against the backdrop of the Kuwait war, “Burning Wells” offers a completely different perspective with a gripping narrative from a Kuwaiti’s point of view.
