ITBP celebrates raising day at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR: The 15th Battalion Indo-Tibetan Border Police force situated at Udhampur celebrated its 30th raising day on Saturday.

Udhampur, September 25

The 15th Battalion Indo-Tibetan Border Police force situated at Udhampur celebrated its 30th raising day on Saturday. The flag hoisting ceremony was carried out by Ravi Kumar Pandita, Commandant, 15th Battalion. A march past was organised and best wishes and congratulations were conveyed to all “himveers” and their families by the Commandant. He also highlighted achievements of the unit to date to the audience present there. He further said we should be ready to face all types of challenges to the security of the nation.

Various games, competitions and cultural programmes were organised wherein soldiers and their families participated. In the cultural programme, various folk dances were presented by jawans.

Prizes were distributed to winners of events by Mrs Neerja Pandita, Chief Patron, Himveer Wives Welfare Association of 15th Battalion ITBP.
