ADGP discusses law and order

SONEPAT: Mohammad Akil, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Law and Order, held a meeting with police officers of the district here yesterday to discuss ways to maintain law and order on the National Highway-1 after the completion of Kundli-Manesar-Pawal and Kundli-Ghaziabad -Palwal Expressways.



Sonepat, September 25

Mohammad Akil, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Law and Order, held a meeting with police officers of the district here yesterday to discuss ways to maintain law and order on the National Highway-1 after the completion of Kundli-Manesar-Pawal and Kundli-Ghaziabad -Palwal Expressways.

“Sonepat, part of the National Capital Region (NCR), will witness increase in industrial, housing and commercial activities, besides traffic after the completion of the expressways. In view of this,” said DIG Hardeep Singh Doon.

“In view of this, the officers discussed prospects of opening police posts, and increasing the strength of traffic police personnel and patrolling units,” he added.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Bharti Dabas, Mukesh Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Aryan Chaudhary, Rahul Dev, Rajbir Deswal and Om Prakash, and Station House Officers of Kundli, Gannaur, Murthal and Rai police stations were present in the meeting. — OC
