NASEERABAD: The police foiled a terror bid to blast the railway track in Dera Murad Jamali area of Nasirabad and in exchange of firing, killed a militant besides recovering arms and explosives from his possession.

According to reports, the police on a tip-off conducted operation in Dera Murad Jamali during which exchange of fire took place after the terrorist present in the area offered resistance and tried to escape.

In retaliatory firing of police the extremist was killed while arms and one kilogram explosive material was also recovered from his possession.  The police claimed that the killed militant was going to blast railway track in the locality but in time action foiled the bid.
