Government to open 20 homeo dispensaries

KOZHIKODE: Health minister K K Shylaja, on Saturday, said the government will open 20 homeo dispensaries in the state this year.
Addressing a gathering after laying the foundation stone for the hospital at Kozhikode government homeo medical college, the minister said with the opening of 49 more homeo dispensaries, the state can attain the status of a 'homeo gramam'.
The minister said the government has decided to give priority to all branches of medicines. She also said the state has decided to make hospitals people- friendly and to upgrade all the medical colleges as centre of excellences.
A Pradeep Kumar, MLA, presided over the function.
