Aadhar for state board exams
PUNE: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has made it compulsory for students appearing for the board exams to display the Aadhar card at the time of registration.
MSBSHSE's statement, issued on Friday, added that students filling forms for secondary school certificate (SSC, std X) and higher secondary certificate (HSC, std XII) examinations will have to provide Aadhar card number in the form.

The rule will be mandatory for all students appearing for state board exams from 2016-17 academic year, the statement added.
Since the past two years, the state government has carried out Aadhar registration drives for school students so that information available with the institution is linked to details included in the card.
Reach one hour early for MPSC exam
Pune: MPSC aspirants have been asked to reach exam venue one hour in advance. The Maharashtra Public Service Commission's State Services (main) examination would be conducted on Sunday as per the earlier schedule. In view of Sunday's Maratha Kranti Morcha in Pune from 7am till 3pm, the MPSC chairman's office has issued a cautionary advice to all the candidates to plan their journey early so that they reach the exam centre (in Somwar Peth) at least one hour before the scheduled time. The central area of Pune and the old city area, where the examination centre is, would be out of vehicular reach due to the Maratha Mukti Morcha.
