Hello and welcome to the second Twenty20 International between Pakistan and West Indies at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The hosts have taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match series with a comfortable nine-wicket win yesterday. Imad Wasim starred with the ball, having picked five wickets to bowl out West Indies for 115. Babar Azam led the chase with a fine unbeaten half century to overhaul the total in 14.2 overs.

Can West Indies bounce back to level the series or will Pakistan seal the series with a win in the second match?

Pakistan (From): Sharjeel Khan, Khalid Latif, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Sarfraz Ahmed(w/c), Umar Akmal, Mohammad Nawaz, Imad Wasim, Sohail Tanvir, Wahab Riaz, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Amir, Rumman Raees, Saad Nasim

West Indies (From): Evin Lewis, Johnson Charles, Andre Fletcher(w), Marlon Samuels, Dwayne Bravo, Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard, Carlos Brathwaite(c), Sunil Narine, Jerome Taylor, Samuel Badree, Jason Holder, Rovman Powell, Kesrick Williams, Chadwick Walton

Carlos Brathwaite, West Indies skipper, won the toss and elected to field. "We have been very successful in chasing in the past. The ball also gets wet here. That was a bad game, we will continue to be aggressive in intent. I don't think the pitch has any demons in it. No changes," Brathwaite said at the toss.

Pakistan (Playing XI): Khalid Latif, Sharjeel Khan, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Sarfraz Ahmed(w/c), Mohammad Nawaz, Imad Wasim, Wahab Riaz, Sohail Tanvir, Hasan Ali

West Indies (Playing XI): Johnson Charles, Evin Lewis, Andre Fletcher(w), Marlon Samuels, Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, Carlos Brathwaite(c), Sunil Narine, Jerome Taylor, Samuel Badree

Pakistan are off to a slow start. Carlos Brathwaite and Samuel Badree opened the attack for West Indies. The legspinner managed to uproot Sharjeel Khan's stumps. However, Khalid Latif has taken the attack on the visitors by playing some audacious strokes.

Babar Azam and Khalid Latif have put on their second consecutive half century stand in as many matches in the ongoing series to seize the initiative from the West Indies. They have played calculated strokes in their stand to put Pakistan in command.

Just when it seemed that Pakistan had taken control of the proceedings, Carlos Brathwaite strikes to dismiss Babar Azam. The second wicket stand comes to an end, having added 54 runs.

With Sarfaraz Ahmed and Shoaib Malik at the crease, Pakistan have crossed the 100-run mark. With just over five overs remaining, it is the perfect time for the duo to press the accelerator.

Pakistan has not been able to accelerate after laying down a good platform. The desperation to score runs at a faster clip, Khalid Latif has ended up getting run out. Sunil Narine has been a little difficult to put away.

Shoaib Malik and Sarfaraz Ahmed accelerated well in the last five overs to take Pakistan to 160 for 4 in their 20 overs. The track isn't the easiest one to score freely on. Pakistan will be happy with the final total. However, West Indies have a powerful batting line-up that bats deep. Also, dew will be a crucial factor to aid their chase

Pakistan have struck early. And it's that man again in action - Imad Wasim. Johnson Charles holes out to Umar Akmal at long on in an attempt to clear the ground. But as it turns out, Pakistan have their first wicket and Andre Fletcher joins Evin Lewis in the middle.

Sohail Tanvir's double strike has the West Indian top order reeling yet again. The tourists have to soon realise that Dubai is not USA. Wickets are far more difficult for batsmen to play their shots. Dwayne Bravo provided them with a tutorial, but they don't seem to have learnt anything from the veteran all-rounder. They are reduced to 19 for 3 in the chase.

Meanwhile, Sohail Tanvir has become the fourth Pakistani bowler to take 50 wickets in T20Is after Umar Gul, Saeed Ajmal and Shahid Afridi.

Kieron Pollard and Andre Fletcher did a bit of consolidation, even as it was coming slow. With Pollard at the crease, the target was always in sight. However, Hasan Ali bagged two wickets to dismiss both the set batsmen in the 15th over and leave West Indies reeling in the chase. Sohail Tanvir and Wahab Riaz have changed their pace smartly to put pressure on the West Indian batsmen. Can Carlos Brathwaite and Nicholas Pooran turn the tide of the contest?

It's Umar Akmal, again, at long on. Carlos Brathwaite, holes out to him in a bid to clear the fence. And with his departure, West Indies' challenge seems to have come to an end. 42 runs needed off the last 10 balls with two wickets in hand. Umar Akmal does the dance, innovated by Brathwaite earlier in the day, for the second time in the innings.

Mickey Arthur seemed furious with the way how Pakistan made things difficult for themselves in the middle, but in the end Pakistan won the second T20I comfortably and taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. It was a complete team effort with different players contributing in different ways with both bat and ball.
