Taking office: New LDA DG assumes responsibility

Additional Director General (headquarters) Amina Munir, Director DG (HQ) Rana Muhammad Shahzad, Director Administration Shakeel Bhatti along with other officers bid farewell to the outgoing DG and welcomed Zahid.

LAHORE: Lahore Development Authority’s (LDA) outgoing director general (DG) relinquished charge of his post and the newly-appointed LDA DG, Zahid Akhtar Zaman, assumed responsibilities on Saturday.

Zahid, a senior BPS-19 officer of the 24 Common Training Programme of Pakistan Administrative Service, worked on various important positions and holds a wide administrative experience. Previously, he has served as Multan’s district coordination officer (DCO), Sheikupura’s DCO, the commercial counselor at the consulate of Pakistan in Chicago and Punjab Saaf Pani Company’s (North) chief executive officer.

The new incumbent called on his predecessor, Nabeel Javed, and expressed good wishes. Additional Director General (headquarters) Amina Munir, Director DG (HQ) Rana Muhammad Shahzad, Director Administration Shakeel Bhatti along with other officers bid farewell to the outgoing DG and welcomed Zahid.
