Vijay admits to meeting Digvijay

Fatorda MLA and GFP mentor Vijai Sardessai said he had met Congress’ Goa observer Digvijaya Singh and discussed about the 2017 polls. He claimed to have told Singh the “writing is on the wall” and the public sentiments for “a progressive secular united front against the BJP” is the need of the hour. “Hopefully, the 125-year-old Congress party, that has its own process, will give us a good signal (on an alliance) by October 2, and dispel the confusion for everyone,” he said.
