Anu Kreethy Vas won the Oppo Chennai Times Fresh Face 2016 auditions at Loyola college in Chennai

Excitement and enthusiasm were on a high at Loyola College when the Oppo Chennai Times Fresh Face 2016 audition was held on its campus on Friday afternoon. As expected, the competition was quite tough and everyone wanted to outdo their peers to be selected for the next round of the contest. Playback singer Padmalatha was the celebrity judge for the event.
Talent galore: While dance and music, as always, entertained everyone, some of the contestants grabbed the attention of the judges and audience equally with their unique talents like mathematical skills, abstract painting, etc. A few others were kickass with mouthing some hard-hitting dialogues and won loud cheers from the onlookers.
The winners: Noel Josheph Martin left the crowd spellbound with his beatboxing skills. It was not a run-off-the-mill performance, as Noel imitated the sound of automobiles so well and emerged as the winner among the boys. The first runner-up position was shared between Joe Immanuel Sharath and Sanjai Shine. While Joe gave a high-octane dance performance, Sanjai strummed his guitar and sang well. Sarthak Tiwari won the second runner-up position along with Balakrishnan S. Sarthak danced to an upbeat track, whereas Balakrishnan presented an excellent monologue. Among the girls, Anu Kreethy Vas was quite impressive and she won the winner’s title.
