KV, FRI, adjudged best school under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

DEHRADUN: Santosh Kumar Mall, IAS, Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), visited Kendriya Vidyalaya, FRI, today to congratulate students and staff for emerging as the best vidyalaya in the country under Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyan of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Dehradun, September 24

Santosh Kumar Mall, IAS, Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), visited Kendriya Vidyalaya, FRI, today to congratulate students and staff for emerging as the best vidyalaya in the country under Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyan of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

He addressed the students and the staff during the morning assembly and patted their back for achieving the feat. He said he was impressed to see the cleanliness on the campus, dedication of staff, belongingness of the students, upkeep of the vidyalaya infrastructure, discipline and the quality of education at KV, FRI.

India is the oldest living civilisation that had set many examples before the entire world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a call for a Swachh Bharat as many evils had erupted in the Indian society.

KVS had taken the initiative in letter and spirit, which had resulted in the form of the first rank being given to KV, FRI by the Government of India, he added.

Principal Dr Charu Sharma will be felicitated by the Prime Minister on September 30 at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.

She extended a warm and hearty welcome to the commissioner and other officers of KVS and assured them that KV, FRI, would strive to excel in academics as well.

Deputy Commissioner Somit Srivastav proposed the vote of thanks on the occasion. Assistant Commissioner PK Tamta, vice-principal SK Joshi, staff members and students attended the assembly.
