Rajinikanth, Kamal wish CM Jayalalithaa speedy recovery

CHENNAI: Chief minister J Jayalalithaa remains "under observation" but is "on a normal diet," according to a press release by Apollo Hospitals where she was admitted on Thursday with fever and dehydration.
Political leaders, including Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan, actors and followers sent her goodwill messages. In a letter to Jayalalithaa, Vijayan said Kerala heard the news about her illness "with sorrow." He wished her a speedy recovery to enable her to return to official duty soon.Actors Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan wished the CM a quick recovery on Twitter.
For the second day in a row, the area outside the hospital played host to anxious cadres. Senior AIADMK leaders, including finance minister O Panneerselvam, Panruti S Ramachandran and Speaker P Dhanapal dropped in to check on the chief minister's health.
