40-yr-old found dead in his flat at Hiranandani Estate

THANE: A 40-year old man was found dead inside his flat at Hiranandani Estate area on Ghodbunder Road late on Friday night. The deceased has been identified as Kiran Deshmukh. Preliminary investigations revealed that the he might have consumed some toxic substance, said a senior cop.
The officer added that for last few months, the deceased and his wife had approached the police with family problems and that he could have allegedly committed suicide following the family fued.The police came to know about the incident on Saturday morning and added that the body has been sent for postmortem. The officer said that his body was moved to Thane civil hospital and later to Bombay hospital for autopsy and report is awaited.
