Alagappa University signs Memorandum of Agreements

The Alagappa University has signed Memorandum of Agreements (MoA) with three leading foreign Institutions of higher learning and research for promoting faculty and students exchange programmes and exploring collaborative research activities.

University Vice Chancellor Professor S. Subbiah signed the MoA with National Institute of Health, USA, Institute of Experimental Medicine, Czech Republic and University of Manchester, Manchester, United Kingdom, a University release said.

Professor Subbiah signed the MoAs with Dr. Indu S. Ambukar, Professor and Head, Secretary Physiology Section, National Institute of Health, USA, Dr. Govindan Dayanithi, Professor and Head, Department of Neurophysiology, Institute of Experimental Medicine, Czech Republic and Dr Alexei Verkhratsky, Professor, University of Manchester, Manchester, United Kingdom, the release said.

The MoA will be valid for five years with effect from September 6 and it may be renewed after every five years. The MoA would promote exchange of faculty members, exchange of graduate and/or undergraduate students and exploration of collaborative research between Alagappa University and the institutions, the release said.
