Indore to see 15% rise in fabric sale

The sale of clothes and fabrics from Indore are expected to grow by 10-15 per cent this season as prospects of better crop production is likely to boost purchasing capacity of consumers.

INDORE: The sale of clothes and fabrics from Indore are expected to grow by 10-15 per cent this season as prospects of better crop production is likely to boost purchasing capacity of consumers.
Rajnish Chordia, partner in an export based fabric supplier said, "This year sales are likely to increase as rains were good this season and this would increase the agriculture production and hence the spending capacity will get a boost." The Cloth Market Merchant Association of Indore has organised a four day textile trade fair that commenced on September 23.
Around 210 exhibition stalls have been put up in the trade fair.
Prem Surjani, a wholesaler said, "I have done a lot of bookings this season as wedding muhurats are more this year." He has put up a stall in the fair.
