DIVANI WINE BAR & RESTAURANT
Divani Wine Bar & Restaurant is a rebrand of a local restaurant in Grand
Rapids, MI. This premier wine bar and restaurant is known for their classy
intimate atmosphere and contemporary wine and food. The word bar has
been removed from the original name and is replaced with a solid bold
rectangle resting just above the captial D, signifying Bar Divani. The brand
mark is highly functional and works as a timeless, versatile logo alluring
individuals to enjoy a culinary experience.
GUITAR CENTER
Guitar Center is the largest chain of musical instrument retailers in the
world. The brand focuses on the customer’s hands-on experience when
finding the products that fit their musical needs. The handwritten brand
signature is modish, individual, and memorable, and represents the stores
mission: giving customers the opportunity to experience the feel and
sound of music the way it’s meant to be experienced - in person.
BRANDALISM
Brandalism is a publication focused on seven internationally recognized
graffiti artists and their street art. A short biography of each artist is
included with images of their most notable street art as well as seven
stencils, one for each artist. Each stencil is printed on perforated card
stock either to be torn out and used, or simply to be an inspiration for
others to create.
REVYNYL RECORD PRESERVATION
Revynyl is an organization aimed towards preserving vinyl records by
building a community of people who find meaning and value in the quality
of sound, the listening experience, and the appreciation of vinyl records as
an audio and visual piece of art. The brand is genuine and authentic which
is reminisent of the retro contemporary choice of type. The advertisement
conveys monetary value of vinyl records through communal blending.
PURE SUNCARE
Pure Suncare is an organic cosmetics line offering sun protection for a
wide range of skin types and lifestyles. The style aesthetic is refreshing,
luxurious, and natural, all reminicent of Pure’s mission statement to create
opulent products that give you the best of both worlds - strong enough to
protect, yet delicate enough to soothe moisturize and nourish your skin.
The Alzheimer’s Association is currently the world’s leading voluntary health
organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Alzheimer’s is a type
of dementia that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior. It’s
a progressive disease that gradually worsens over time causing the brain to
literally deteriorate. This campaign encourages others to seek instant help
if they notice any signs of Alzheimer’s in their loved-ones. Each ad captures
the deterioration of a memory through the use of typography.
ALZHEIMER’S CAMPAIGN
GROW CAMPAIGN
Grow is a communication initiative focused on the importance of local
food production for the health and well-being of individuals, families, the
community, and the environment. The campaign answers the question; How
can all people, at all times, have physical, social, and economic access to
sufficient, safe, and nutritious food? The system offers an interactive site,
advertisements, and a garden guide booklet aimed towards encouraging
children and adults to grow their own food.
The Innerview zine is a visual interpretation of the social behaviors and
experiences of a group of individuals within a closed system. The title serves
as a double meaning; giving the viewer an inner-view of the punk basement
show scene, as well as showcasing a diverse variety of personal interviews
documented by basement show goers. To expand into the realm of an open
system, a calendar was created via a social media app which gives public
access to upcoming basement shows in Michigan.

This premier wine bar and restaurant is known for their classy intimate atmosphere and contemporary wine and food. The word bar has been removed from the original name and is replaced with a solid bold rectangle resting just above the captial D, signifying Bar Divani. The brand mark is highly functional and works as a timeless, versatile logo alluring individuals to enjoy a culinary experience. GUITAR CENTER Guitar Center is the largest chain of musical instrument retailers in the world. The brand focuses on the customer’s hands-on experience when finding the products that fit their musical needs. The handwritten brand signature is modish, individual, and memorable, and represents the stores mission: giving customers the opportunity to experience the feel and sound of music the way it’s meant to be experienced - in person. BRANDALISM Brandalism is a publication focused on seven internationally recognized graffiti artists and their street art. A short biography of each artist is included with images of their most notable street art as well as seven stencils, one for each artist. Each stencil is printed on perforated card stock either to be torn out and used, or simply to be an inspiration for others to create. REVYNYL RECORD PRESERVATION Revynyl is an organization aimed towards preserving vinyl records by building a community of people who find meaning and value in the quality of sound, the listening experience, and the appreciation of vinyl records as an audio and visual piece of art. The brand is genuine and authentic which is reminisent of the retro contemporary choice of type. The advertisement conveys monetary value of vinyl records through communal blending. PURE SUNCARE Pure Suncare is an organic cosmetics line offering sun protection for a wide range of skin types and lifestyles. The style aesthetic is refreshing, luxurious, and natural, all reminicent of Pure’s mission statement to create opulent products that give you the best of both worlds - strong enough to protect, yet delicate enough to soothe moisturize and nourish your skin. The Alzheimer’s Association is currently the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Alzheimer’s is a type of dementia that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior. It’s a progressive disease that gradually worsens over time causing the brain to literally deteriorate. This campaign encourages others to seek instant help if they notice any signs of Alzheimer’s in their loved-ones. Each ad captures the deterioration of a memory through the use of typography. ALZHEIMER’S CAMPAIGN GROW CAMPAIGN Grow is a communication initiative focused on the importance of local food production for the health and well-being of individuals, families, the community, and the environment. The campaign answers the question; How can all people, at all times, have physical, social, and economic access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food? The system offers an interactive site, advertisements, and a garden guide booklet aimed towards encouraging children and adults to grow their own food. The Innerview zine is a visual interpretation of the social behaviors and experiences of a group of individuals within a closed system. The title serves as a double meaning; giving the viewer an inner-view of the punk basement show scene, as well as showcasing a diverse variety of personal interviews documented by basement show goers. To expand into the realm of an open system, a calendar was created via a social media app which gives public access to upcoming basement shows in Michigan. INNERVIEW ZINE ARTICULATIONS
