Dehradun: Nainital Tigers defeated Udham Singh Nagar (USN) Lions by 7 wickets in a match in the 2nd Uttarakhand Premier League played at the Rangers College ground here on Friday. Rohit Chaudhary gave a brilliant performance with both bat and ball. He scored 23 runs and picked up three wickets for the winning team. 

Earlier, the USN team posted a target of 138 runs in the first inning, which was comfortably achieved by Nanital in 16.2 overs.

In another match of the day, Pauri Riders beat Haridwar Nagas by 2 wickets. Batting first, Haridwar Nagas put up 154 runs on the board. In reply, Pauri Riders reached the target in 19.5 overs. Deepak Sharma contributed 29 runs, the highest, whereas Ankit Chaudhary pick 2 wickets for Pauri Riders. —TNS
