Three persons, including two children, of a family were killed when they were hit by a speeding vehicle in Naya Raipur area of Chhattisgarh’s capital Thursday night.
The police identified the victims as Vikas Jangde (5), Lavina Jangde (11) and Mona Jangde (20). Police said the incident took place when the family had gone to a temple. “The victims were standing by the side of the road near the temple when a speeding car lost control and hit them,” a senior police officer said. The police have detained the driver of the vehicle, T Raju, who was allegedly drunk.
