Every once in a way, there comes along a show that caters exclusively to the ladies, and this particular soirée, was no different. The event was well-attended by the gliteratti of the city, and was replete with some great music, a fashion show, some good food, and of course, a great deal of camaraderie. The host for the evening was Madhu Jain, whose Ikat-printed collection of clothes, was modelled by some of the ladies, including danseuse Anita Ratnam and Gopika.
Anita was cheered on by her daughter Arya, who looked divine in a yellow sari, which she paired with chunky jewellery. Praiya meanwhile, kept things simple with an off-white and gold-bordered sari... and her colourful blouse, added the right amount of style to her look. Also spotted was Maha, dressed in a simple knee-length printed dress, that spelled class. Sunita on the other hand, chose to wear a kalamkari waistcoat over a simple top, making her look effortlessly stylish.
