USJ gears up for relisting in Tokyo

Halloween events drew record numbers of visitors to Universal Studios Japan in October.

TOKYO -- Osaka theme park operator USJ may soon return to the stock market now that efforts to strengthen management under private-equity firms have borne some fruit.

Online market research company Macromill is on the same path. The two Japanese companies will file this autumn to relist on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and could go public as early as the current fiscal year.
