Riteish Deshmukh’s much-anticipated musical drama Banjo, which also stars Nargis Fakhri in lead role, released today. And while the Housefull actor’s look from the movie has been much appreciated by his fans and film fraternity, his friend and co-star Akshay Kumar, who is known for his impromptu gags, out of the box thinking and impeccable sense of humour, decided to copy his Banjo look and went for a complete makeover.
Akshay, who is currently enjoying the pros of having short hair, got a blonde long locks wig on his head to get the perfect look of Riteish’s from Banjo. He shared his cool new look on Twitter with Riteish posing beside him, he was seen wearing a red coloured wig. They both had blank expressions on their faces as they thought it would become one of their cool looks. Also wishing Riteish all the best luck for his film, Akshay wrote, “Just when you thought your look had become soooo cool @Riteishd, I dig up this beauty 😜All the best for #Banjo buddy!!!”
The movie sees the Hindi directorial debut of talented Marathi filmmaker Ravi Jadhav of Timepass fame. He has joined hands with his trusted ally, Riteish Deshmukh for his Hindi venture. Backed by Eros, the movie deals with the topic that of street music and street musicians. The novelty of the subject and Ravi’s ability to keep his viewers are the film’s USP. Nargis Fakhri plays herself in the film.
