Ramona Singer finalizes divorce from Mario

Let freedom ring for Ramona Singer.

The “Real Housewives of New York” star’s divorce from Mario Singer was finalized on Wednesday, two years after they first split, her reps confirmed to Page Six on Friday.

“We signed off on a divorce agreement last September. Unfortunately, it took the judge over a year to sign off on it due to paperwork glitches,” she told E! News. “I found out yesterday from my attorney, who sent it to me along with a key chain that says, ‘The divorce is final.'”

Ramona, 59, wed Mario in 1992 and they renewed their vows on-air in 2010. The Bravo personality tearfully recalled on “Housewives” this season how she actually discovered on Page Six that her spouse of over 20 years allegedly cheated with a much younger woman.

Though Ramona and Mario called it quits in August 2014, she says she has since forgiven him. “Forgiveness is very important,” she told us last summer. “I forgive [Mario]. Sometimes people just lose their way and you can’t help them find it.”

Currently single, Ramona knows exactly what she’s looking for in a future mate.

“I really would like someone who has been married before because I believe in marriage, and whether I get married again or not, someone who’s been married before can relate to me. That means they understand commitment,” she told us last month. “I’m meditating on it and if you throw it out in the universe, hopefully it will come.”
