BDJS is happy with BJP, says Thushar
The vision document will deal with the need for increasing minority participation in politics, more jobs for these communities and improving their safety and security.
ALAPPUZHA: Though Bharath Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS) is not happy with the BJP’s present approach towards it, on Friday BDJS president Thushar Vellappally said "there are no issues and conflicts between his party and BJP and they will stand in unity for beefing up the NDA’s in the state. Thushar was speaking to media persons at Kanichukulangara near here after the BDJS state council meeting.

He said it is a fact there are some delays from the part of saffron party in executing their demands. "Our party workers are disappointed with it. But there are no issues with the leaderships of both the parties. We are happy in our alliance with BJP. We hope that the posts for BDJS in central government institutions in the state will be allocated soon. We have informed our demands to BJP national president Amit Shah and he already handed over it to Prime Minister,’’ he said.
Thushar also said that the BDJS leaders will also attend the meeting to be held at Kozhikode as part of the BJP national executive council meeting.
When asked about SNDP yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan’s statements against BJP, he replied that Natesan said the opinion of SNDP yogam and not of the BDJS and its workers.
BDJS will hold a meeting of its district leaders at Cherthala on Saturday for making them completely aware about NDA’s aim and activities. "Our prime aim is to expand NDA in the state. We are always welcoming Kerala Congress (M) leader K M Mani to the NDA if he is ready.The first anniversary of BDJS will be held in Ernakulam on December 5 and it will be celebrated with great fanfare. We will complete the formation of all the BDJS units within a month in the state, ‘’ he said.
The state council meeting held on Friday was presided over by Thushar Vellappally. BDJS leaders Subash Vasu, A G Thankappan, T V Babu, Rajesh Nedumangadu, Sangeetha Viswanath, Unnikrishnan Chalakkudy and Thazhava Sahadevan also spoke.
