Natarajan takes over as IRMA’s new director

VADODARA: Dr R C Natarajan has taken over as new director of the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA). Natarajan is an alumnus of the institute.
Dr Natarajan who took charge on September 21 has replaced professor Jeemol Unni who had served as IRMA’s director from 2011 to 2016. When she was appointed Unni was the first female director of the institute.
"Dr Natarajan has had a distinguished career having headed the TA Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal as its director.
He was, earlier, professor (marketing) and associate dean (dcademics) at TAPMI, professor of marketing and chair of online education at IIM (Indore) where he won an award for being the best teacher of marketing management,” a release issued by IRMA mentioned.
"He has, besides, held various positions of responsibility at Amul in Andhra Pradesh, Dalmia Dairy Industries and Tamil Nadu Co-operative Mil Producers Federation Limited,” the release further mentioned.
