Four F-16 fighter planes spotted in Islamabad! Is Pakistan preparing for war with India?

New Delhi, September 23: In a dramatic turn of events, F-16 jets of Pakistani Air Force were seen flying over Islamabad on Thursday night at around 10:20 pm. The event unfolded when the diplomatic relationship between India and Pakistan had almost ended after attacks in Uri. For about five minutes four F-16 jets were seen flying over Islamabad and the thunderous voice had scared people living there. The information about the jets flying over Pakistan’s capital was first disclosed by country’s senior journalist Hamid Mir. When Geo News journalist Hamid Mir contacted Pakistan’s defence officials, they informed him saying that, “it was a war drill”. Even if it was a “war drill”, especially at a time when India is mourning for its 18 martyred soldiers, the main question arises that, “Is Pakistani government are preparing its people for war with India?. Whatever may be the answer but Mir correctly said yesterday that the word “war” doesn’t seem nice at all. “I am not afraid of war, but the word itself doesn’t look good. Things can be sorted out by having a conversation in a right way,” Mir reportedly said.

The jets then flew towards Pakistan-occupied Kashmir from Islamabad where there are rumours about “surgical strikes” to be carried out by India. According to reports, people living in Islamabad came on streets. Soon after the drill Pakistan-Islamabad highway was also closed. But whatever happened yesterday it is quite sure that the people in both India-Pakistan are living under constant threat.

After Pakistani Air Force displayed their muscle in high mark drills in an uncertain time, Mir said to a news channel, that it a message from the Pakistani government to its people “to prepare themselves for a full-scale war”. But later he again stressed on “war is not good for both India and Pakistan, both the countries must opt for diplomatic solutions”.
