Rio Paralympics 2016 bronze medalist Josephine Medina back in PHL


Josephine Medina, winner of the bronze medal for table tennis at the 2016 Rio Paralympics, arrived back in Manila on Thursday night fresh from her victory, a report on News To Go on Friday. 

Medina was the lone Filipino who won a medal at the Rio Paralympics.

A Class 8 table tennis paralympian, Medina won after beating Germany's Juliane Wolf, 3-0, last Sept. 13.

The athlete said that she offers her victory to the Filipino people and to fellow athletes.

Medina arrived past 6 p.m. Thursday at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1. —KG, GMA News
