Emperor Chris Baywood Ibe Honoured With IoD Fellowship

President & CEO of Baywood Group; Emperor Chris Baywood Ibe has been honoured with the Institute of Directors Nigeria (IoD Nigeria) Fellowship Award at the recently concluded 2016 investiture; held at Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos on the 8th of September, 2016.

Emperor Baywood received the award for his worthy contribution to the Growth of the Nigerian Economy especially in the Oil and Gas sector.

He has led the Baywood Group since 1989, after receiving his degree in Quantity Surveyor at Yugoslavia in 1987. He is a renowned philanthropist and social activist; leading one of Nigeria’s largest indigenous oil & gas EPC service companies; Baywood Continental Limited and a number of sister companies, including Baywood Exploration, Tropical Artic Logistics Ltd (TAL) and ZB Joint Ventures Limited which recently completed and handed over a 42"X 45km onshore Gas pipeline built for Total Exploration Nigeria and the first of its kind in the Sub region.

Speaking on the Fellowship, Baywood commented; “It is an honour to be part of this. The IoD is one of the most eminent forums in the country – it enhances the fulfilment of our professional and societal responsibilities as directors. I must reiterate; I truly am honoured.”

The business magnate was honoured alongside Emeka Anyaoku; the former Commonwealth Secretary-General, Stella Okoli; Founder Emzor Pharmaceuticals and a host of other dignitaries.
