Man arrested in murder case

The One Town police on Thursday arrested a person who was involved in the murder of N. Siva Krishna here. The arrested was identified as B. Durga Rao, daily wage worker from Panda street in Old Town area.

According to SHO of One Town Police Station B. Venkat Rao, the accused attacked Siva Krishna with a knife on September 15 and he died on September 19. Mr. Venkat Rao said Siva Krishna’s brother Jagadish and the accused were friends. Jagadish borrowed a huge sum of money from Durga Rao and did not return.

On September 14, during a heated argument, Durga Rao tried in vain to attack Siva Krishna. The next day, Durga Rao returned and stabbed Siva Krishna and fled.
