MBBS, BDS spot allotment tomorrow

A spot allotment will be conducted at 10 a.m. on September 24 at the old auditorium of the Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, to fill the remaining few vacancies in government seats in Government/Govt-controlled self-financing/private self-financing medical and dental colleges.

Students who receive allotment or those who have a change in allotment should seek immediate admission in the newly allotted college before 5 p.m. on September 26. The deadline for completing admissions will not be extended for anyone.

Hence, students expecting new allotment should have ready with them, the fee to be remitted at the office of the Commissioner of Entrance Examination, the fee amount to be remitted in college, transfer certificate and other certificates in proof of qualification.

Students who take spot allotment and fail to fulfil admission formalities within the stipulated time and thus forfeit the seat will be liable to pay Rs.10 lakh for MBBS seat and Rs.5 lakh for BDS seat as liquidated damages as per clause 12.2.4 in the prospectus.
