Twins reliever Pat Light isn't the first pitcher to embarrass himself while attempting the simple act of an intentional walk. He won't be the last.

But he's also a professional baseball player, which makes his pitchout to Erick Aybar in the ninth inning notably bad.

Light sailed his pitchout a solid 10 feet over catcher Juan Centeno's head. Justin Upton was on third and found time to easily run home and score before laughing at that really bad pitch.

To be fair, Light did complete the intentional walk. That was the fourth ball.

The score before that wild pitch was 3-2, and the Twins went on to lose, 9-2. Michael Tonkin relieved Light and allowed three runs, but he was probably just too mortified about the pitchout to truly give his best effort.
