State revises IT staff salary

Chandigarh: The government has decided to increase from July 1 the base rate of job work fee or contract remuneration of IT professionals engaged in various departments, boards and corporations through HARTRON Informatics Limited (HIL).

The government has decided to increase from July 1 the base rate of job work fee or contract remuneration of IT professionals engaged in various departments, boards and corporations through HARTRON Informatics Limited (HIL).

An official spokesman said the Data Entry Operator of category (i) would get monthly contract remuneration of Rs13,500 instead of Rs10,000 whereas the Data Entry Operator of category (ii) would get Rs14,500 instead of Rs11,000 and the Data Entry Operator of category (iii) would get Rs15,500 instead of Rs12,000. Similarly, the DTP Operator would get Rs18,225 instead of Rs13,500 .

The Junior Programmer or Junior Data Analyst of category (i) would get Rs20,250 instead of Rs15,000, Junior Programmer/Junior Data Analyst of category (ii) Rs22,250 instead of Rs17,000 and Junior Programmer or Junior Data Analyst of category (iii) Rs23,250 instead of Rs18,000.

The spokesman said the Networking Assistant of category (i) would get monthly contract remuneration of Rs20,250 instead of Rs15,000, Network Assistant of category (ii) Rs22,250 instead of Rs17,000 and Networking Assistant of category (iii) Rs23,250 instead of Rs18,000. Similarly, the Web Designer of category (i) would get Rs20,250 instead of Rs15,000, Web Designer of category (ii) Rs22,250 instead of Rs17,000 and Web Designer of category (iii) Rs23,250 instead of Rs18,000.

The Programmer/Data Analyst of category (i) would get monthly remuneration of Rs25,200 instead of Rs18,000 and Programmer/Data Analyst of category (ii) Rs27,200 instead of Rs20,000. Likewise, the Networking Engineer of category (i) would get Rs25,200 instead of Rs18,000 and Networking Engineer of category (ii) Rs27,200 instead of Rs20,000. The System Analyst would get Rs37,800 instead of Rs27,000 and the Senior System Analyst Rs39,200 instead of Rs28,000.
