SHIMLA: As many as 175 tourists would participate in the 8th Shimla Running and Living Ultra Half Marathon organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports and Shimla Running and Living 25K to be held on September 25 in Shimla, a spokesperson for the state government said here today.

As many as 175 tourists would participate in the 8th Shimla Running and Living Ultra Half Marathon organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports and Shimla Running and Living 25K to be held on September 25 in Shimla, a spokesperson for the state government said here today.

The main objective of the run is to attract running enthusiasts to visit Shimla and run through nature.

As many as 175 tourists had registered and around 250 participants were expected, along with participation from the Army, ARTRAC, schools and others.

The runs will start from Police Control Room and pass through the Vidhan Sabha, Glen, Annadale, Advanced Studies, Summer Hill Chowk, Peterhof, Oak Over, Raj Bhavan, St. Bedes Chowk, Jakhu Temple, IGMC, Lakkar Bazaar and the Mall Road depending upon the stretch of the run.
