Edmond Tarverdyan, Ronda Rousey's trainer, says the former bantamweight champion could make a comeback before Dec. 30 but a decision has not been finalized.

"There have been talks about her coming back (Dec 30), but we haven't made a final decision yet,” he told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne. “There's a chance she fights to get her belt back this year, but nothing is set yet. If we do make a comeback this year, we will. If not we will make it next year. We want to thank all our fans for being patient.”

Rousey, 29, has not fought since losing her bantamweight crown to Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November. It was the first loss of Rousey's career.

Since Rousey's defeat to Holm, the title has changed hands twice. Amanda Nunes is the current title holder.

Rousey also took time after her loss to focus on her movie and entertainment career.

There will be two big UFC events in December, as UFC 206 takes place on Dec. 10 in Toronto and UFC 207 is set for Dec. 30 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. FOX Sports reports that Rousey has been offered a fight with Nunes, who may agree to the match.

"When she does come back, we promise the best Ronda Rousey that anyone has ever seen,” Tarverdyan said.
