Prithviraj has another project lined up for next year that will have him teaming up with Priyadarshan for the first time.
And the director has also roped in frequent collaborator Sreenivasan to script the movie.
Earlier, '1983' scriptwriter Bipin Chandran was in discussions for the job. However, actor Maniyanpilla Raju, who would be funding the film, says, “Priyan already had a story in mind and we thought Sreenivasan would be apt to pen the screenplay.
It’s a satire similar to their previous movie Vellanakalude Naadu and we wanted to repeat the combo.”
The movie is about a youth essayed by Prithviraj who travels to Sri Lanka and the struggles he endures. “It’s a big movie with 90% of the film being shot in Sri Lanka and rest in Munnar. Unlike Priyan’s latest venture Oppam, this film has a lot of comic situations too,” says Raju, adding the film will go on floors by March next year.
